I can't say how many times I was in our kitchen, playing this album during lockdown.
This is an excellent album, the first Strokes album I'd enjoyed from beginning to end since Room on Fire. It's different from their other albums, cohesive and solid. The album isn't morose or sad, but the last song, "Ode to the Mets," reminds me of COVID-19 and the related isolation more than any other.
